Ideally the head should sit directly on the neck and shoulder, like a golf ball sits on a tee. The weight of the head is more like a bowling ball than golf ball, so holding it forward out of alignment puts a strain on the neck and upper back muscles, leading to disc degeneration, herniated discs, and pinched nerves. I have cervical disc degeneration predominately C4-C6. Now I have reversed neck curve. I suffer from neck pain, have bone spurs in the neck, numbness in the left hand, fibromyalgia & more. This is something I can do but will it help to reverse the neck curve or is it too late?
No it will not reverse the cervical curve although you need to practice postural strengthening. Majority of the degeneration occurs as a result of forward head posture and pronated shoulders. There are many videos I have done on my channel which could be very helpful for you.

If the movement of your head makes the condition worse you should get evaluated. I would only use the ice pack only.

Crap! No exercises so why not just say that.
I just started your exercises over the last number of days. It is amazing the difference I fell. Thank you so much for explaining the exercises. I have had years of pain. I have forward head posture causing so much pain around my shoulders, down my back. I am presently living in Bulgaria until July. I am going to attend the American Spinal Clinic and do a rehab programme to help correct my posture through exercise etc. Just doing your exercises and being more aware of my posture has made such a difference. I am so excited to incorporate these exercises into my daily routine. Once again thank you.

”Doso shocking guide” posture treatment (check it on Google) claims that it keeps your shoulder and back straight, and it is definitely correct. The job I have requires it and I`ve definitely looked better. Recommended if you`re searching for something to assist you to maintain right posture.
Go for “doso shocking guide” posture treatment (search Google) if you want to straighten up your stance. As I`m working, I use it for just one hour each day. My work requires me to sit down all day, which worsened my slouching tendencies. I`ll keep you posted but so far this is a good thing for me.
