Correcting Anterior Pelvic Tilt (Best Information on the Internet No One is Teaching) – Dr Mandell
Anterior Pelvic Tilt is a very complex condition and can be caused by many different factors (forward head posture, pronation of the feet, fallen arches, contracted/shortened hip flexors). Finding the underlying cause is crucial in the correction of this postural deficiency.

Hi, would have to be examined because there are many possibilities.
Question – it’s confirmed by a podiatrist I severely overpronate, and by my chiropractor that I have hyperlordosis. I also have osteoarthritis in my mid back. How do I know what is causing the problem – the overpronation or the APT? Thank you for your incredibly informative videos, your exercises that you’ve recommended have helped me tremendously!
Thanks doc!
Start with the foundation principle which are the feet
shouldn’t the inside of the shoes more worn out with pronation? and outside indicate supination? thank you for this detailed video!
Sounds like it should but no the outside heels in pronation
Apparently, I have a pelvic tilt on only one side.
Thank you so much for this excellent content you’re providing. This is helping me a lot. Keep up the great work Doc.
I have pretty bad anterior pelvic tilt and when I tried to work out doing squats and deadlifts I really hurt my lower back due to trying to lift with such bad posture and form. It’s been two years now and finally relazing now what I need to do to fix. Very weak glutes, abs and hams, hams are very tight. Question is, is it okay that when I do glute bridges and planks that I feel it alot in my hamstrings and not so much in abs and glutes yet? I’m still learning how to activate my glutes during these exercises and check in the mirror to make sure I’m squeezing while doing it but still feel the burn mostly tin hams?
Didn’t include the plank. Or many other exercises one should do
Thank you dr Mandell!
Wow, thanks a lot for the exercises. I am wrecked with a pain in my back for 2 years. I didn’t know what to do. I spent thousands of pounds consulting this pro and that pro, but no one told me how to do the exercises.

It’s amazing the way our bodies work, I have learnt so much from your video’s. Unfortunately it’s usually after we do some damage to ourselves that we start to learn( in my case I fell down the stairs)However I have always found your videos very informative and interesting.Thank you Dr Mandell.
